Family Law Practitioners - Make 2008 your best year ever

I am pleased to announce my new Practice Growth System.  This program is specifically for divorce and family law attorneys only.  The program contains everything you need to run an extremely profitable divorce practice.  Some of the components include: referral marketing systems, keep in touch programs done for you, integrating value pricing into your practice, creating client attraction tools, developing your prospect kit, operating systems and much more.

This is an implementation program.  We do not just give you ideas.  We do them for you or walk you through doing them yourself (depending on the level of the program you choose).

If you are interested send me an e-mail for more information.  This is an AREA EXCLUSIVE PROGRAM.  Some geographic locations are already taken, so contact me immediately if you are interested.

Free eCourse now available

As many of you know, Grant Griffiths and I are working on a program that will teach lawyers how to create and maintain a blog that attracts more clients.  When we announced the Blawg for Profit program, I noted that we would also be releasing some other free blogging resources as we got closer to the release date.

I am happy to announce the first of these is now available.  It is a free 7 lesson eCourse on better blogging for lawyers.  If you read these posts in your browser instead of a newsreader, then you may have noticed the sign in box at the top of the sidebar.   If you’d like to subscribe to the course, please enter your name and e-mail in the form.  The introductory message will be sent to you immediately, and the first lesson will soon follow.

You’ll also be subscribed to the Profitable Practice e-zine that contains marketing (both online and offline tactics) and practice management tips and strategies specifically designed to help solo and small firm lawyers design their perfect practice.

I hope you find both of these resources valuable.

4-Hour Workweek in the law office?

4 Hour Workweek in the law office?

OK, a 4-hour workweek probably isn’t likely. But, I recently had about an hour long conversation with Tim Ferris, the author of the New York Times bestselling book, The 4-Hour Workweek.

Many of Tim’s principles are directly applicable in a law practice - eliminating interruptions, outsourcing, increasing productivity and more. I recommend the book just for those sections alone.

But, the better news is that Tim allowed me to record the call.  I’m burning it to CD now and will tell you how to get a free copy as soon as I’ve got them ready. (Sorry, but this free offer is only for fellow solo and small firm lawyers).
